1.A small insect named ' mili bird' followed by a fungus called 'Sooty mould' has turned into an endemic form in Nalbari district affecting the horticulture crops . The joint attack of mili bird' and sooty mould have created a black layer on leaves, flowers and fruits of the infected plants. The plants after the attack gets weak and dry up .

2.Vladimir Putin was sworn in as the President of Russia for the fourth term extending his almost two decade rule by another 6 years

3.Tech giant Google today said it has collaborated with NITI Aayog to focus on fostering growth for India’s nascent artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) ecosystem. The two parties will work together on various initiatives, including organising training for relevant government functionaries to introduce them to open-source AI tools to enable more effective governance, Google
said in a statement. Besides, they will award grants and scholarships to researchers, scholars
and university faculty conducting cutting edge research in the field of AI/ML in India
